Numerals and Legs

A myriad worlds

   In the Café

   On the bus

I wonder if they're all like us

If they ever wandered

   About the concert

Art in every pair of ears

Until all sense of unity…

A thousand bands

   A single train

   Multiple wagons, but

We all fret the rain outside

And that lady next to me

   Did our legs just meet?

   Music to my ears

My headphones are out

A billion beings

   Connected like never before

   Further from each other

How lovely Is the human touch

Don't you miss it just as much?

   Don't you ever feel

   Like it's all too easy

To disappear in…

A manifold space

The place we call one earth

   Different in each eye

What are the chances?

Will I die with my earphones playing loud?

Alone with my very own blend of sounds

   Will anyone check?

What was the music whispering while…

A million lines

   Intercrossed in our daily paths

   Yet we're all rendered mute

Do you want to feel the pressure again?

The one that only a human…

   Pressing the buds in

I might just leave before I come in

What does it matter when…

An infinite thickness

Waves and waves in the air

   Covering our hides

Too thick for our will to will have tried

It's not like we decide

What foolishness to hit the pause

Time goes on and without cover

We might just freeze in a hailstorm shower or…

A hundred cries

   Suppressed by our inherent lies

We're burning bridges and cutting ties

The ones we could have made throughout our lives

Should have been a utopia for ships

   But without relations

   We're just drifting

Each in their lonely sea

A dozen oceans

   Tens of hearts

On the same raft sailing to survive

Everyone listens for the olive dove

Hearts are caged and hands are tied

Paddling for our vessels not to sink

But legs… the legs seldom touch

Silently I cherish the moment so much

A one man army

   A little idol

We all have to become lest

We go d(r)own - melancholy march

Breathe (in the Air)

   Paranoid Android

   Piledriver Waltz

Brain Damage

A null future

I wish I could read you

No! I wish I could just ask

My mouth is broken shut by a cask (would you listen?)

We reflect but in tears

   From the same lost dreams

The same crippling fears and such

Seems I might just cry next time our legs touch
