Nothing

Nothing.

Just an empty space.

Nothing to be done.

No chores, no meet-ups, no games, no hobbies.

No life— be it personal or social, any acquaintances or friends;

No will left to live a life filled with infinite boredom

Sitting on the floor, inside, trying to ignore the hum-drum, outside

A causal effect of bottling down all emotions, pushing everyone away

Scared to confront a can of wriggling worms

One out of many out there

Seeing the reality yet turning a blind eye, because that’s all you can do

if you want to live life unbothered, unfettered

Free from all worldly constraints, a life idealistic and reel

Seeking nothing and gaining nothing in return

Because nothing has become your comfort zone

A place to call your own

You sit amidst the pale yellow walls

Gazing and gleaning

Yet, making no efforts to break the reverie

That nothing has cast on you.

There’s nothing you can do to clarify

Your innocence or your guilt

In a world plagued by sinister motives

To live and let live

To die and to kill

There’s no difference, is there?

When the mind is indifferent

Everything is just the same

Everything is just nothing.
