Note Of The Thorn Bird

I wanted to fly

but my wings were set on fire

I wanted to cry

but pain refused my desire

I felt lucky to finally feel the bliss

meanwhile, love blew me one last kiss

Never saw, never heard again about it

tried to reach, hatred grew around it

Dreams were my last ray of hope

so I dreamt and dreamt until I woke

Can't go back to sleep

now that I'm awake

Sell your soul to the Devil

name is what you'll make

Time can heal almost anything

but I'm stuck in the virtuality

Even if someday I find my peace

I'll be used to pain passionately

So I'll give up on serving heavens,

set fire to it all and ring the bell

Watch is all turn to ashes

then take over the Throne of Hell

I'll wear my crown and keep my eyes blood soaked

but I'll always be a Thorn Bird, waiting on my last note.
