Not Mad But Ill

I see the invisible,

I hear the unheard,

I feel the untouched,

For it's my perception, not reality;

I need your empathy and not pity.

Nothing from you I expect,

No harm I'll do to you is a fact.

Why be aloof from me?

Why fear me thee?

Why of mockery and laughter am I victim?

Why call me 'insane'

And enhance my pain?

Why not feel a fraction of what my dear ones feel?

Should from the world I be concealed?

Each moment brings with it a challenge

Which I have to face,

And I do so with the Almighty's grace.

Accept me, care for me, hear my cry and be with me.

Are you AWAKE?
