Northern Lights

A canvas dark, where nature gently paints,

With shades so mesmerizing, beauty swirls,

Vibrant hues dance in the northern lights,

More heavenly than all the heavens unfurled,

Their shadows softly fall in the valleys deep,

Bright colors kissed by glances of the stars.

I wonder at the brilliance that shaped,

This masterpiece of nature’s art,

A symphony of light that stirs my soul,

To drench in its allure and its beauty to my core,

As my heart absorbs its glowing rays.

I wave, as if it hears my silent plea,

To take me with it, far from the earthly bounds,

Where mountains gleam and peaks stand proud and free,

I dram to feel this rapture all around,

Then close my eyes, in peace forever sleep.
