No Man's Land

Versions, numerous, it’s count I have lost,

To no man’s land I go, more often than I must.

Seldom it survives, the world of endless rain,

Disperse! Whiff of smoke!

Never be found again!

Not a mere shadow, it’s a land of wonder.

Crystal blue skies, barren lands asunder.

A realm of the heart, fabrication of mind,

When the world’s forgotten,

I’ll be there to find.

Many crossed by, said it’s too shallow,

Some falter, break, in it’s storms they wallow.

To the depths of the woods not a soul could dally,

O’ to the No man’s land, will u not rally?
