“Nightfall In His Arms”

By Greeva Shah

When silence drapes the house in velvet hush,

he draws you near—

hands entwined like vines in bloom,

his breath a whisper on your neck,

a promise traced in warmth.

Fingers glide like rivers over skin,

soft as monsoon mist on trembling leaves.

He lifts you—featherlight,

into the cradle of the bed,

where shadows hold their breath.

The room dissolves into darkness,

but your senses awaken—

each kiss a spark,

each touch a hymn of grace.

Clothes fall like petals,

and the night turns wild with gentleness,

two bodies wrapped in reverence,

in rhythm, in rain.

Love moves not in haste,

but in the slow unfolding of trust—

until sleep gathers you both

like dusk gathers stars,

sweetly, silently, whole.
