Night Dreaming

By Ayush Kumawat

The night sky turned bright and purple

Then I hear the clouds rumble

Smell reminds me of my home

I picture castles made of stone

The mist captured in meadow

Standing alone at dawn I see my shadow

The rustling of wind moving through trees

Face caressed by cold and moist breeze

Stargazing constellations

I miss my summer vacations

Still we are finding our inner child

Extracting awestruck moments to experience that silence of mind

Anhedonia takes over

Then pleasure is achieved by losing sober

Now I take a deep breath

Get that weight out of my chest

Experience the present

In a second it all might end
