Night

Twilight ends, another golden gone,

dusk deepens, shrouding the cosmos

I switch on artificial glow, tonight its candlelight

once in a while, I let it envelope

The Night has returned, evil may come to plans,

human zoo triumphs in the black,

nocturnal tragedies, catastrophes,

grim reapers reap

Folks in their pods, veiling with cloaks,

trying to escape, the witching chaos

Oblivion beckons, my mind needs repose,

spell this night in a cocoon

I’ll wait for the sun to rise, in velvet innocence.
