Never was a Wanted …

Imagine a world where we hold a lamp.

I will wander looking for the lamps that vamp.

And give my light for them to camp.

But who will light mine and make it a glamp.

I have a list of my closest huddles.

But who has a list with my letters on it.

Them and their cuddles arranged their shuttles.

While I waited until they asked for a bit.

I’ll give them my one, two, three, four and five.

But will they include me inside their bee hive.

I am just a part of their own life long drive.

At the end I will be placed in their archive.

Will I ever be someone else’s first in mind.

Who will be both vined and perfectly timed.

Someone with whom my words get rhymed.

And swings at me like a wind that chimed.
