I’m searching for someone;

Alone in the dark,

The ‘you’ that I’ve portrayed;

Been filling this empty heart,

As harsh as reality could be;

I’m woken by the kindest remark,

The real you, just in sight;

Will always be the distant part,

Stolen glances,

Halted paces,

Dropping the gaze to other places,

Thoughts wandering,

Remembering the beginning,

Of the feeling that never comes to an ending.
