Caption Of Artwork: This pen and ink drawing is a reflection of my deep love for creating woman-centric figurative art—an ongoing exploration of the self through the female form. Each piece I create is an extension of who I am, and this one, titled Nestled, holds a particularly intimate place in that journey. In it, I depict myself nestled in a crude nest of dead sticks and leaves, a visual metaphor for the safety and comfort I find within my own space. Though the nest may appear undone or unrefined to the outside world, it is a place of deep belonging for me. It speaks to the quiet strength in embracing one's own raw, imperfect sanctuary—and the profound sense of peace that comes from being held by it.
