Needing Want

By Mehana Agnihotri

I want to be held

Through the night

After you have

Devoured me just right

I want filthy words

And promises that won't be broken

I want my cries to be heard

Even when left unspoken

I want ruin and reverence

Rolled into one

I want someone

who will stay

Than someone who will run

I want to be

Set ablaze

In a never ending fire

Burning me in

The wildest way

I want love

I want truth

I want everything

As long as it's from you

I want you to stay

Please don't run away

I need you too much

And I need  you to tell me

That you feel the same
