Neath Starlit Skies

By Sobia Rashid

A weary wind sighs your name,

My thoughts bound in cherished guise.

Without you near, my heart trembles;

A fleeting glimpse of you sets my soul aflame.

No life I claim if not with you -

You are my spirit's mirror, steadfast and true.

'Neath starlit skies, my plea took wing;

Through moonlit hours, my heart did sing.
