Mystery Of The Locked Room

Long ago in the city of Merchandise lived a girl Anaya. She lived happily with her parents, strange from her past. She wanted to be a dancer in future, but she always knew that this dream of her would never be true. Her parents never supported her passion. According to them girls were not allowed to sing, dance or work outside the house, their work was in the kitchen, and looking after the house. One day Anaya’s father caught her dancing in the room secretly and scolded her a lot. Anaya didn’t feel bad about as she was a sensible girl and knew that her parents would never want anything wrong for her hence she continued with her daily life.

Years passed and Anaya was now 20 and was a designing student, along with her studies she part time worked at a café. In the past years many things had changed, they had even moved to a new house. Now her father was going was going to sell the old house, she was clueless why did he do so as that was their ancestral property. Some days later Anaya found the agreement in which the deal of the house was there. From there she got to know that her father had sold the house at a very low price. She took that agreement to her father and questioned about it. Her father very calmly answered her that they were in need of money and had already taken a lot of loan from the bank and their work places and had no expectation for more from there. Without questioning more Anaya left from there. Though she didn’t question her father, she wasn’t satisfied with what her father said as they were from a wealthy family.

The very next day confused Anaya went to café and as a part of her duty she went to a serve coffee to a couple, but that one was a weird one. The couple looked at Anaya in a strange manner. Anaya found that incident a bit weird, but she overlooked it. She never knew that the couple was going to open a mysterious door that would take her back to her past.

A few days later while Anaya was in the kitchen preparing tea for her father, her father received a call and got shocked. He grabbed his car keys and left the house.

Anaya knew that there was something that her parents were hiding from her; she was trying her level best to know what the matter was.

After 3-4 days there were the headlines in the newspaper that said something horrendous. It said that 2 skeletons were found in a very respected and old house, and it was Anaya’s previous house. Now she knew that it was something related to her that her parents had hid such important news.

She contacted the police team secretly which was working on that case. From there she got to know that the body was lying in a room since many years and now from the postmortem report it was clear that the skeleton was

approximately 19-20 years old and it was a murder. It was a couple and before the murder the lady had just delivered a child. Police was now in search of that child. During the investigation Anaya got to know that the couple who was starring her at the café was the new owners of the house.

Days went by but there was no progress in that case. After a lot of investigation the police found a newspaper at the crime spot, from there the case got an new angle. The newspaper was a 20 year old one and it was mentioned that there was robbery of a precious pure gold set from the same address where Anaya and her family and recently shifted.

Anaya’s family being the prime suspect as the house were the body was found was their ancestral property they were investigated and from there they found the set. Now from Anaya’s dad they got to know that the murdered couple had stolen the gold set and were flying of the city that same night when the wife had delivered the child. Should I say delivered the child or delivered Anaya. Yes that lady had given birth to Anaya hence, she was her biological mother. That night had thunder, lightening, storm and all that required to make it a scary one.

When Anaya’s dad and her mother came in greed and killed the couple to get the pure gold set that locked the bodies in a room of their bungalow that was already locked from years, so no one would doubt and there great grandfather and the other previous generations were a very reputed one.

On looking at the infant Anaya’s mother’s heart was melted and she couldn’t see the child cry as they themselves were trying for a child since years, so they decided to adopt her.

After know the reality Anaya was completely shattered as she never thought that parents could have done such a crime as they loved Anaya more that anyone.

Her parents were sent to the prison and had to go through there punishment and suffer. Anaya was going to be sent to a NGO which would pay for her further studies but as she used to work at a café she had some savings with her which helped her complete her studies.

Anaya became a dancer and had opened a NGO and used to organize awareness camps for girls. She was a role model for many girls and had set an example that hard work, passion and very importantly even a little bit of savings can help you achieve all your dreams.
