My Whole World

By Vaishnavi Mandle

I love you with every inch of my heart;

You are my whole story, not just its part.

I want to confess all that I feel,

But only if there were enough words in the world to steal.

When I look into your eyes,

I see the whole world, the aligning universe, and the beauty of skies.

When I stand next to you and hear your heartbeat,

The whole sky feels like it's underneath.

It is a privilege to hold your hands.

I wonder if I deserve this privilege, or should I just admire you from far apart and let things end.

So, even if our story stays incomplete,

Know that it's always complete in my heart's sheet.

But yeah,

I love you with every inch of my heart;

You are my whole story, not just its part!
