My Voice

Wherever I walk, wherever I stand,

In any attire, by my own command,

My voice, my choice, in every breath,

No means no, and yes means yes.

Through crowded streets or quiet lanes,

In flowing skirts or suits that frame,

Respect my words, for they are mine,

Clear as the sun, in day’s first shine.

No hesitation, no second guess,

I own my truth, I won't suppress.

My boundaries are firm, my spirit free,

In every word, I claim my decree.

So, wherever I go, however I dress,

Remember this truth I confess:

No means no, unwavering, strong,

And yes means yes, where I belong.
