My Unpainted Life

Where hearts melt, fate does not meet!
I hunt for my beloved in the darkness of stars,
This one day, I will come to your shore,
When the sun sets, wanting for more.
My desires last at the sight of you,
My prayers and hymns, deserted dues.
All day long, the tedious song, aren’t you gone?
God be the saviour of my soul,
The colours of you,
Forgotten in the midst of my dreams,
I plea for another world, another time,
Without any flaws of its own.
My verses scatter in the ocean of breath,
Drowned and scorched by the brightness of moon.
Majestic years passed down from irrevocable doom,
Can you not come even as a baby in my arms?
Take another birth in the winding of time,
My heart looks for you as if you’re mine.
But this time come to relish my pain,
It has been a decade since I danced in rain.
No point of endless living and dying,
Without you, this world seems as meaningless as ashes lying!
