My Unknown Friend

By Naira Narang

One pleasant evening, me and my family decided to go for a walk to the park. The Park was blooming with colourful flowers, a variety of plants and a cool breeze energized us. I played on the swings, ran around and had lots of fun. On our way back, we saw an ice-cream vendor and decided to have an ice-cream party. My father bought ice-creams for all of us. While he was paying the vendor, we saw a dog staring at us. To our surprise, he wasn’t barking at us and looked hungry. When my father game him an ice-cream, he quickly licked it and finished it. Then we gave him another one. While we were enjoying his company, a man came searching for his dog. He thanked us for taking care of his dog. I unintentionally had found a new unknown friend.
