My Unanswered Prayer

As the cold breeze swept past me,

I realized I had fallen for someone,

Someone I shouldn’t be in love with.

He who makes my heart skip a beat,

He who makes me forget who I really am…

He who shall be my salvation,

I shall entrust myself to him.

Each breath of mine

Shall be a hope for tomorrow,

A hope for a better future.

As my heart tangles with a million nameless feelings,

Within this salvation of the unknown,

I lost myself

With a restless mind and a broken heart.

Who have I become?

Have I lost myself to this Salvatore?

Even if I have, I am petrified

To lose the one for whom I breathe.

I would rather have him as my friend

For the rest of my life

Than as a stranger.

He who is engraved deep into my heart,

I shall keep him as a prayer,

A prayer that I shall chant until I die.

For all I know,

He is my life, the one I am living for.

Whether he knows it or not,

I shall love him until my last breath.
