My Testimony: Subliminal Love

Pain that feels timeless, engulfing me with darkness,

Little was I aware, the devil was taking advantage.

But where there is endless darkness, there is endless light,

And there beholds my Father, reminding me of his might.

‘My daughter, you are my lamb, there’s nothing you shall fear,

‘For I will never leave you, and you will feel me near.’

‘The wicked cannot harm you, they walk in delusive time,

‘But remember the gifts I gave you, for you are one of mine.’

Society is corrupted, indulging in sinful nonsense,

And standards are asinine, with lack of moral compass.

But corruption promotes downfall, wearing it like a trend,

And there beholds the Son, here to remind me again.

‘My daughter, you are worthy, nothing to do with lineage,

‘For you are perfect like this, I made you in my image.’

‘From your faithfulness to me, and urge to perform your duty,

‘And in the old words of Proverbs, you are more precious than rubies.’

Hardship will always be present, and it will never be easy,

But people rely on blasphemy, rather than see what I see.

I am of no exception, I’ve had my hurtful past,

But I rely on the Spirit, until I am with him at last.
