My Search For Love

What is Love?

Is it just a fleeting emotion...

Is there something called True Love...

Or is it just a pre-formed notion?

What is the color of Love?

Is it Red, like that intense burning fire...

Or Blue, like the ocean with deep desires…

Is it Green that nourishes, or turns into envy that possesses?

Is it those butterflies in the stomach...

That fluttery feeling?

We’re in love so deeply...

That without each other life has no meaning.

When we have found "The One", we feel complete.

Why does then exist, a constant need to p l e a s e ..?

Are we so afraid of Loneliness...

That we change for others with ease?

One of the biggest life lessons,

Is this that I have known,

We can truly love the other,

If we are happy being alone!

There’s no need then,

there’s no dependency...

And the others can be truly themselves,

without losing their individuality.

There’s no need to please then,

there are no expectations,

Love doesn’t control the other,

there are no manipulations.

We often say we are falling in love,

For once let us rise!

We always are losing ourselves in love,

For once let us be found!
