My Saviour

When I sit beside my window,

As the moonlight shines the path,

I’d think to go

To your room made of lath,

But that would be a fall from grace,

it would all be worth it

If it meant I could see your face.

The face that drenches me in tears and blood

And leaves me drowning in prayers,

My only saviour would not be the prayers

Rather the sin I commit would be my only heaven.

So let the path light up,

And let me run to you and bleed

Bleed till I can bleed no more,

Be my saviour,

My saviour from this pain from your absence.
