My Flag Knows My Name

A name stitched on a uniform,

A medal, a march, a flag held high

And a salute towards it.

They call him a patriot .

Some wear no uniforms,

Yet serve neath the colors of their flag.

Some bear no medals ,

Yet carry nation in their hearts.

Patriotism is not only where bullets fly,

It lives in the hands which build .

Together they weave their might

That keeps the nation unbroken
