The fire in me refuses to die

It kicks, it blooms, it erupts

Leaving my heart corrupt

Sleep leaves me, my brain deceives me

My head fills with a burning desire to cause pain

I am left feeling insane

How could they, I ask?

How could they not, I feel

I thrash, and I crash, falling into oblivion

For this world has no space for my fire

And so, I let it extinguish in a pyre
