MY FATHER IS NO MORE

The clock struck seven at dawn,

Maternal's call; while I yawn!

From Baba Journeyed to a place,

Tidings of heartbreak! in cousin's face.

As unknown as unexpected ; that proved!

Baba's heart stroke ! To hospital's moved.

Lost hopes and confidence of life,

bewildering heart raced with strife,

Stepped towards Baba's hospital way,

One more call from cousin's ;at my pray.

He is no more and a distant shore.

What I prayed for! Vanished hope!

What I heard ! destined to cope!

Life time of a life put the test,

But Why time; couldn't we be blessed !

Never predicts natures waves !

Unknown ;resonance of life 's caves.

rhythms of echoes Last words spoke ,

Ride as tempest, Baba's voice broke.

play in my heart, a silent quest !

I was left; in deep anguish, as test !

to protect you; for failing myself,

Punished me as devoir to end itself,

Of bond reckoning, as ignored , left me and passed away.
