My Blemishes

My blemishes

Once felt a warm embrace

Under a bright moon,

Weaving joy and laughter into memory.

don’t know when,

But those moments now only remained alive in my mind.

Back then,

My face knew only smiles,

Only laugh—

Now, I wear them

only to hide bruises and blemishes on my body.

Covered in scars,

My skin turned purple and green.

I only knew love —

didn’t know how to lie or hide a thing.

But life, these new experiences,

forced me to speak any word

or it could hurt my only kin

The ones I love.

I want to give this teaching to you, my kin:

Love is pure, beautiful — the greatest thing.

But don’t rely on love alone.

Let my blemishes be your teaching.

Entrust your heart to someone worthy,

Or else it Will only bring the pain and disaster

I thought ‘Free’ this word will never come

in my life. But that day will eventually arrive

who free me from this pain and sufferings

My dear,

I wish you happiness.

I am not sending you away from me —

am sending you forward

With my love,

And my lessons.

Never forget

Your lone and quiet mother.
