Musings of a Working Woman…

After six days of work

Comes one day of rest

But there are obligations I can’t shirk

And I owe them to my nest…

Though I get one day off in a week

From my office work…

There is nothing like that to speak

About my chores without perk…

Sometimes I can’t help wanting

Few moments just for myself

Moments where I can just keep sitting

And dreaming all by myself…

I dream of a society…

Where at home also there is gender equality…

Where for doing chores girls & boys are equally trained

Where at home also the balance is maintained!!!
