I revel in the embrace of the sky,
Yet the leap into the unknown, I shy.
Peering through the airplane's eye,
Like a scene from a tale that's awry.
Clouds serene, their fury unbeknown,
Unraveled by storms, their power unshown.
If life mimicked this airborne plight,
Would contentment take its flight?
Bound by schedule, freedom in disguise,
Moments mine to seize as time flies.
Baggage to carry, checks and wait,
Challenges that determine fate.
Grand visions could falter, dreams adrift,
Missed connections, service adrift.
Each journey, a cycle much the same,
Transient joys, routine fate
