Mundane State of Being

It’s what I like best about my home

the endless repetition of acts

to hear the spoon and tumbler rattle away

to watch the mop, unfold its story of the day

It’s what I like best about my school

the weekly dose of satisfaction

to attend or not to attend, not-so-mundane lectures

to seek interest in our colleague’s affair

It’s what I like best about my life

the balance of past and afterlife

the pain and suffering it gives

to mettle me strong, so to create my identity

It’s what I like best about the society we live in

The changing mindset among us, it's resident

To treat everybody with equality and of loving bliss

To give space to those in a mundane state of being.
