MOUNTAIN
By G BHARGAV
Upset at the uphill
confronting the comfort of the flat
all the time looking down
at the people wandering like an ant,
took a trek to the peak
to possess its sense and sight.
Years of air collecting
the stone and dust
into its own design and artefact,
demanding the cost of sweat.
A calm moment
encroaching each thought
left behind with each feet,
the calmness of the mountain
making me its own,
where I never belonged,
became my home.
