MOTHER’S LOVE

It is present in the food she makes

And all the things she takes care of

This emotion found everywhere on earth

None other than a Mother’s love

Your love is the best medicine

It always keeps me safe and at peace

Your hugs feel like heaven

So let me stay here forever please

She always loves me the same

No matter how much I complain

Through her best and her worst

Through her happiness and her pain

I don’t always say that I love you

But deep down you know it’s true

I did not give you the gift of life

Life gave me a gift of you

So please be happy always

And know that I do love you too
