Mother's Lap

Updated: Jul 15, 2025

I used to think life was hard,

And I often felt sad.

I just wanted a place

Where I could find some peace.

So, I went home and

Slept on my mother’s lap,

Sharing everything without any gap.

When she holds me near ,

I conquer every fear.

Her gentle whispers chase the shadows away,

Guiding me softly into the light of day.

In those moments, the world feels right;

In her comforting presence, I find my light.
