Mother Nature and Man

“Can Man restore the planet?” Asks Mother Nature.

These are Man’s replies to her:

“A few stare and say they don’t care.

Some say, I don’t see why we need to try.

Most say, teach me how and I’ll start right now.

What to do, to see it through?

I know we’re failing and it’s not plain sailing.

We know it’s a test, but we’re doing our best.

We must do more, it’s not the last straw.

We’ve just begun to get it done.

Donating to nature, billionaires should become millionaires.

Enjoy moonlit nights, turn off lights.

Use aircon less, so we can fix this mess.

The less plastic used, the less this planet’s abused.

Pick up litter, save the earth and get fitter.

Let’s all agree, to plant a tree.

If you protect the land, nature can expand.

Carefully choose, recycle, reduce and re-use,

To save wildlife, stop the strife.

A good solution is to stop pollution.

We need to conserve, then we’ll preserve.

We need to say, “save nature’’ every day.

We need to shame and blame.

What’s it worth, to save the earth?

Is there any cause for applause?

It might take years, to quell our fears.

To stop deforestation, we must solve over-population.

We need to stay calm, to prevent more harm.

To save man, we need a plan.

If we don’t use our head, we’ll all be dead.

If we don’t try, we’re all going to die.

We get no joy, when we destroy.

The more we destroy, the less we enjoy.

Before we can protect, we need to respect.”

Mother Nature’s reply to Mankind:

“Let’s hope you can, continue as you began.

Mankind MUST learn, that’s my greatest concern.

All of Man, must agree on a plan.

To respect, means you’ll protect.

It’s a reminder, to be kinder.

Nurture Nature, and Nature will nurture you.”
