Moonshine

-I wish these words mean something to you, for whatever it amounts,

because I want to let you know something deep and profound.

I hope you stick through, regardless of how cliche I sound.

-Love is like the moon, isn’t it? Beautiful despite what it surrounds.

Be it envy, darkness, hate or lust... whatever that’s around.

Love stands undefeated as long as the sun shines strong,

it takes two to give life to cold nights along.

-Of course, the moon is beautiful, it resembles you, the night we met you were faded, gone soon but I knew you’d be back.

Foolish? Perhaps, but you didn’t prove me wrong.

-Very thing that shines in gloom and through, a beacon of hope and light, reflections of you.

-Embodiment of perfection once a full moon, but in each and every phase I’d love you, as I see your side that doesn’t shine through.

-Yours truly, don’t worry, you will get there.

Till you do I’ll be here waiting.

-Ours truly, every kiss and consummation, every ray that glistened off you.

-Ultimate goal in life is love, maybe you’ve found it.

The first letter of every verse amounts to something, resound it.
