In the night’s lull, I seek your trace
In the surging wind I search for your embrace,
Among the echoes of the night’s soft croon,
I hunt for shambles of you in the moon.
I have a house not a home,
It’s been aloof,
Since you’ve been gone
I live, I laugh
And the stars coddle me
When I have cried enough.
Losing you is a scar
That I wish never heals,
The blood it bleeds is a river of memories
Shy a decade is gone,
But it’ll never be long enough
Yet still, l’ll seek in the moon’s soft glow
For the shambles of you, wherever they may go
For even in absence, your spirit l’II find,
In the luminous depths of my restless mind...
