Moonlight In The Midnight

By Naina Mishra

I feel afraid moonlight,

Don't leave me alone in dark,

I tremble every night,

I hear the dogs bark.

My heartaches badly ,

Looking into my reflection,

You're found nowhere sadly,

Then I think of your affection.

Sometimes you tease,

Yet,glowing up everyone's world,

Then we feel at ease,

Making us grow up bold,

Your hobby is to scold.

Once we were buds with fears,

Which were yet to bloom,

Always with tears.

One fine sunny day,

Covered up with diamond like dew,

That shall be our farewell day.

Some bloom early,

Few bloom late,

Yet you cherish us daily,

You seem like dark chocolate,

No, actually you're sweeter than nectar,

You were the best actor

You all came along as a ray of a light,

In the Midnight,

Which was a beautiful sight.

Unforgettable memories that we weave,

Even if we leave

Yet,it shall be craved on my heart,

Love is a form of art.

You're so special to us,

Teacher you're precious for us,

You're the moonlight,

In the Midnight.
