the moon was alone and

shining in the pitch-black sky.

I realized how the moon

taught us that there is beauty

even in the darkness.

How there is beauty

with deep scars and wounds.



How there is beauty

when you are not perfect.

How there is beauty

when you are trying.

How there is beauty

in your life even when

you do not see it.
