He came, He struck, He left

In the shadows, he did lurk.

Gasping at my blood-pool,

As he wiped a bloody smirk

He took me to a Mirror-maze.

Mirrors; Smudged, Grimed, Unclean.

Tarnished my face ruthlessly,

but me crying was the 'scene'

He'd give me doses of venom

then question my insecurity.

Tell the world he trusts me,

with a red towel labelled purity

He'd prove to me that I had sinned.

A crime, a havoc, a fraud.

But oh dear! What a man he was…

Made an atheist cry to god.
