Modish Heritage

Anxious, depressed

Dull faced, tears suppressed

Grieving and mourning

From sunset till morning

An intentional worming

For narcissist reforming

In a delusional phase

Agony embraced

Every second face

An elite competitor in the race

Welcome to the modish heritage

Depression is a souvenir

Empathy cold-shouldered, compassion feared

Tears are steered

For recognitive leered

The war has commissioned

Sapiens envisioned

Desolation traditioned

Self-obsession provisioned

Wake up!

Be a comrade

Act like an eagle

Not a cascade

Be a helping hand

Like dates in a barren land

Take a walk together

And see the world gets better

Crush the ego fragile

Pass on a smile

Offer a shoulder

Smash that boulder

The journey might be trudged

Hopes might be bugged

But the strongest power is love

And love is meant to be loved
