Miss You Mom..
By Sany Sayantanee
Autumn was seeing off, Cold was at the doorstep.
A warm attire would have put you to a cosy sleep.
I would have tended you, batted your ailments.
Heart knows, how I wished to bring you to sanity.
Delectables should have gladdened your taste buds.
Would have brought you things, you would love to have.
Would have embraced you so close, never to lose.
You and me would have chatted, cachinnated.
The gleam in your eyes I would have treasured.
Wish I had taken you on a dreamlike trip.
Wish I were a bit, like you were to me.
But see..how I failed.. utterly I failed.
You never let me know and bid adieu so early.
