Yuki says:

"The morning was misty,

and my heart felt heavy,

heavy as a stone,

underneath the weight,

weight of undying un-fulfilments.

Keeping up with my spirit,

wounded and broken,

aided by the empty soul,

I struck this thought,

the thought,

I put it into this letter,

letter to Manila.

In the popular knowledge,

in this popular culture,

the things don't get easy,

in matters of war,

in heavyweight deals,

in cases of forbidden love,

the love that bloomed,

in my heart for this boy,

the boy from Manila.

His name was Angelo,

and I remember him,

dancing in full spirits,

to Rihanna's music,

sipping up the rum cola,

and we kissed,

sucking out the soul from each other,

while the world watched,

and we took the centre stage,

we took our time,

we embraced our flaws,

we hoped to shine,

with each other's light,

and we lived,

the moment of magical love,

we recorded our moments,

in romantic love tunes,

till we figured,

our feet are tied,

to a disappointing reality,

to an endless struggle,

to an overbearing pull,

that wouldn't let us,

to be together,

in this lifetime.

Bid adieu to my love,

this boy from Manila,

his name is Angelo,

was never to be seen again,

but I feel helpless now,

and I write this letter,

out of my endless hopes,

out of my everlasting fantasies,

bound with never-ending desires,

to wrap this love,

left undone,

for the one,

for Angelo,

who lives in Manila."
