Merciful Saviour

By Hortense Francis

When we go to bed and wake up in the mornings his mercy is everlasting.

When our bills are paid in full and we have enough to give his mercy is renewed.

When our enemies suddenly get a change of heart and are now our friends his mercy is sure.

When we recapture and all that is loss is restored his mercy is forever.

When all hope is lost and we are in the lion’s den his loving hands reach down towards us.

When our dreams are shattered and our plans look like they are a failure he has another.

When we have hit rock bottom and no hope is in sight he has something better.

When our friends have forsaken us and our parents are nowhere to be found he is nearer than you think.

Jesus is a merciful saviour and he promises never to leave us or forsake us.

Jesus is a merciful saviour and he will carry us in his loving hands when the seas get rough.

Jesus is a merciful saviour and he promises to keep us in perfect peace if we focus on him.

Jesus is a merciful saviour and he promises he will never give us more than we can bear.
