1. Khud Se Kuch Baatein

Kabhi kabhi khud se baatein karne baith jaata hun, Liye ek haath mein coffee,

Dusre mein jalte armaan,

Aur mann mein liye kai kisse aur sawal.

Side mein Kishore Da aur Rafi Saab ke gaane,

Aur mera mann kahe,

“Kya yahi hai life, mere diwane?”

Sochta hun,

Ab jis stage pe khade hain life ke,

Bade ho gaye itne

Ki zimmedariyan anek hain, aur chhote itne bhi

Ki kabhi kabhi raahon se bhatak bhi jaate hain.

Log poochte hain sawal,

“Kya hai plan life ka, mere laal?”

Par unhe kya bataun…

Uljha hua hun dhundhne apni manzil har haal.

Padhai aur tanhaai mein kahin kho gaya hun,

Shayad apne aap ko hi kahin chhod aaya hun.

Kuch sawaal reh gaye hain mann mein,

Kya kar paunga kuch apne jeevan mein?

Par rukna nahin hai,

Thamna nahin hai,

Ye kar li hai sapath.

Unhi sawalon ke jawab dhundhne

Chal pada hun phir se

Apne hi path.

2. A Letter to Heaven

Hey God,

If roses grow in heaven,

Please pick some for me.

Place them in my Mama's arms

And tell her they are from her son.

We miss you.

In quiet silent moments

When something good happens,

We still look around

As if you’ll appear and say,

"My sons have done it."

Raj is trying to stay strong.

Baba stands strong, holding himself high for us all. And I…

I am learning to fight

The way you did all along.

Sometimes we talk about you

With heads held high and eyes quietly numb.

Because you are the one who

Made us this strong.

Thank you, Mama

For the love.

For the strength.

For your lovely scolding and strict lessons.

If heaven allows phone calls,

Just send us your missed calls.

And rest peacefully up there Mama,

Your boys are handling it.

3. The Man Behind Our Smile

If Mama was our life,

Baba is our strength.

Woh khade rehte hain

Karke apna seena tight,

No matter what's the problem,

He says "everything is alright."

Strict from outside,

Par at the same time cool hain,

Keeping things aside.

Bas "Baba" bolo,

Aur woh turant haazir.

Problem ho chhoti ya badi,

Solution is always ready.

Hamari har wish puri karna,

Khud ki list gayi thodi si side.

But fikar not Baba, your sons are working tight.

Life advice free mein milta hai,

Whiskey ho ya life ki fight.

Kabhi short version to kabhi full night.

He works hard every single day,

To keep us super duper happy.

Woh zyada bolte nahin,

Par sab kuch kar jaate hain.

Chup reh kar bhi,

Ghar ko sach mein ghar bana dete hain.

Reh gaye hain aapke kuch adhure khwab, Kar denge sab poore dono beton ne sochi hai tarkeeb lajawab.

4. Mere Aane Wale Kal Ke Naam

Aaj likh raha hoon ek khat,

Apne hi aane wale kal ke naam.

Pata nahin kaisa hoga tu,

Par umeed hai tu rahega wahi insaan.

Rakhe hain kai sapne aaj yahan,

Unhe poora karna hai tujhe kal wahan.

Tension zyada mat lena meri jaan,

Main mehnat karke kar raha hoon tera aadha kaam.

Mushkilon se ghira hoon aaj yahan,

Kabhi lagta hai khud ko kho diya hai jaane kahaan.

Phir bhi chal pada hoon rakhkar khud par yakeen,

Pata nahin kal ka kya hai action plan.

Khush rehna hamesha tu aage,

Chahe badal jaaye waqt aur karwaan.

Banna zaroor woh insaan ek din,

Jispar tujhe ho khud par abhimaan.

Sabki madad karte rehna hamesha,

Yahi hai hamare dil ki pehchaan.

Aur yaad rakhna apne aap ko har waqt, Chahe duniya badal jaaye ya badal jaaye samaan.

Yaad rakhna tere sapne bade hain,

Aur hausla bhi hai tera fan.

Tu mehnati hai, pa lega manzil ek din, Chahe ho raaste kitne bhi anjaan.

Aur haan future wale mere dost,

Ek baat bataana sach sach...

Agar life set ho gayi ho teri,

Toh yaad rakhna mujhe apne dil mein kahaan.

Rehna apni mauj masti mein dhum,

Aur saath mein rakhte rehna sabka dhyaan.
