Men and Women

By Rishika Jain

In society, men are proclaimed protectors and women as nurturers. But what happens

when they don’t have their counterparts to balance life?'

With no one to care for men and their delicate side neglected, the protective essence

will harm them and those around them. Thinking that their feelings and emotions will

make them weak and vulnerable without realising those are the real things that make

them, thus losing touch with their truth.

With no one to protect her, she would have to forego her weak side and bring out a

hyper-independent side, thus never believing anyone’s true intentions. Living in this

constant fear that someone might take advantage of their emotions and innocence, they

never let anyone in their true feelings.

But maybe that’s how the world works, you know? You would have to experience the

obstacles in your life independently before you meet your counterpart, someone who

will show you their safety or delicate side amidst all the chaotic survival energy in them.

Maybe then you will realise the importance of feeling protected and loved. Only then

would you acknowledge the part they will play in your life.
