I can tear you out or cheer you up

I can wake you up and make you weep

I can unleash the demons or call upon the angels

I can break you clear or make you dance to music hear

I’m the treasure or burden you hold till the end

I’m the one you lean on when you are old and bent

You talk incessantly of me as your life is spent

Use me good, use me well, for I can bring you joy or send you to hell

Memory you call me…

I’m just as you make me….
