Memories With Those Streets.

The streets are still the same,

But the buildings in them changed.

Some in the case of colour,

and some with texture.

Some in height,

and some with width.

The roads are still the same,

But the people who walked in those changed. The older ones then

now are resting in their beds.

Then the younger ones

may be coming here often just the way I came.

I cycled and walked

to my extra classes.

In these roads,

right in these streets.

Those were the days

we loved the rain and getting wet.

And bunking the classes

over going to the field

to watch cricket.

We laughed and taunted

while waiting for the latecomer.

We did sulk, and nag

ignoring each other.

We brawled and stoushed right here,

later hugged, making the never to fight again swear.

These streets, roads, and the memories are still the same...

But the tide of time

and the state changed.
