Memories Stay

Why do memories stay,

Why won't they go away.

Why won't they leave me alone,

Like the others who needed to stay.

The memories that cherish,

With the song of the merry.

Like the hope to survive,

With all that you can carry.

But don't add others,

On the weights you carry.

Because not all can do,

How to use it as a parry.

Everyone in the end,

Need to get to pay.

Because people don't,

But the memories stay.

So memories go away,

I want to live in peace another day.

Let me be in a good state of mind,

Don't make me blunt in a way to pay.

For the greater good,

To the people left to say.

The words pierce through the darkness,

To the heart that bled out to cry.
