Melody

Life is like a song to me, 

It takes a while to tune to it but when you do, it hurts when it ends. 

My Life was passing by 

And I realise this song of mine has no melody,

Contemplation i did much, to find the place, my melody ran off to 

I was tired of having no tune

I was tired of feeling that I am stuck up in a dune- unable to get off it, while my life still passing by

My Life was passing by 

And this song of mine had no melody 

I was in search of a melody to bring some sense to this song of mine, i went far off-course 

I searched and searched but found no melody tuned to my song,

I often wondered than, am i doing something wrong

Does every song of a soul have a melody to it? 

Is every melody perfectly tuned? 

Does every song soothe? 

Or does some song end with their purpose incomplete?

Does some song end out of tune? 

I got weak and weary searching for melodies out in the world,

And for a change I searched within, for the first time I contemplated within

And to my surprise I found, melodies all around.

And i realised,

Melody to our song lies within us 

One must have a patient ear to hear 

I realised, melodies are in our soul itself,

And as I dug deeper

In search of melody, I found my symphony.
