Meet Mr. Speed!

LOOK! Here the bird glides! As fast as thunder! those who thought he was slow have made a mighty blunder!

Though the wind tries to stop him, it doesn’t hinder!

for his speed, is a fantabulous wonder!

When his enemies chase him, he gives no heed!

Instead, he amuses them, with his brilliant speed!

When hungry or bored, on worms he feeds

and 2 of his treats are nectar and seeds!

His family, he works hard to lead and feed!

and if you meet him………Do call him MR. Speed!
